Find out about our Stroke and Turn Clinic

This is a developmental program for children interested in joining a YMCA sanctioned swim
team. Participants ages 4 to 18 will learn a series of drills to reinforce proper stroke technique
for all four strokes, along with instruction on starts and turns. Swimmers will also have the opportunity
to participate in a minimum of six swim meets against other YMCA league swim
teams and at least one championship meet at the end of the season. Sportsmanship will be
heavily emphasized throughout the program to create a team that actively displays the four
core values of the YMCA.

The swim team is split into several coed practice groups. All groups
will practice two-five days per week on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday,
Wednesday, and Thursday evenings sometime between 5:30pm and
8pm.
