We
encourage all those who use the Woodbridge Community Center in any
way to become a member of the YMCA. There are several advantages
offered by membership including registering for programs at a discounted
fee.
Membership
to the Woodbridge YMCA section of the Community Center is open
to Woodbridge township residents, employees of companies located
in Woodbridge Township, and non-residents. Our programs and memberships
are not restricted by ability to pay. Financial assistance is available
for all program fees and membership options for residents. We encourage
anyone who is interested in becoming a member, but finds it financially
difficult, to contact the YMCA to determine eligibility. |

Memberships
The YMCA section
of the Community Center has Corporate Memberships available to companies
that wish to provide fitness incentives to their employees. Please contact
the Nancy Drumm, Membership Director for more information at nancy.drumm@metuchen-edisonymca.org
or 732-596-4164. Ten or more employees of a company will receive a 25%
discount on the purchase of a membership. For additional information about

- WELLNESS CENTER

The Wellness Center is located on the 2nd floor in the community center. The wellness room is designed to accommodate participants of all fitness levels. The room is equipped with treadmills, ellipticals, upright and recumbent bikes, steppers, nu-steps, and an upper body ergometer. There is a new stretching area with resista-balls, medicine balls, cable machine and an abdominal trainer. A professionally trained staff member is on duty during all hours of operation. Prior to your first visit to the wellness center, you will need to schedule an orientation with a staff member. The wellness center is for members ages 13 and up. Children ages 11 and 12 are permitted with parental supervision upon approval by the wellness director.
- STRENGTH TRAINING ROOM
The new Strength Training Room is located on the 1st floor of the community center adjacent to the gymnasium. Our exercise room offers a full circuit of nautilus and cybex strength equipment a complete selection of dumbbells, incline, decline, and flat benches, a 3 dimensional smith machine, cable crossover, and much more. Ages 14 and up may use the strength training room. New members are required to have an orientation by staff before using the room.
- TRACK
- Our Indoor Track is great for runners and walkers in any type of weather. Ten laps around the track is approximately one mile. For safety reasons, children under the age of 6 are not permitted on the track weekdays after 4:30 PM. Strollers are permitted in the walking lane only.
- POOL
- A six lane, 25 yard pool is open for a variety
of adult, open and family swim times. The pool is fully handicapped
accessible, as are all the facilities of the Woodbridge Community
Center. It is also used for instruction, exercise, and competitive
swimming programs. Please pick up a current pool schedule at the

Community Center site.
- GYM
- Our Gymnasium is equipped with 6 basketball hoops for members and guests to use during open gym times. The gym is also used for fitness classes, youth sports clinics, and special events. The gym is located on the first floor of the community center.

- LOCKER ROOMS
- Fully-equipped, well-maintained locker rooms
have showers and changing areas. There are lockers available for
your use while you are visiting the Woodbridge Community Center.
- LOUNGE
- A comfortable room provides plenty of opportunities
for seniors and teens alike to relax, socialize, or spend some
quiet time. Equipment includes a pool table, ping pong table,
air hockey, and a big screen television.
- COMPUTER LAB
- The computer lab provides 15 computers, printers,
scanners, and internet access for instructional and individual
use.
- CRAFT ROOM
- A room dedicated to a variety of arts and crafts
instruction for all ages.
- BABYSITTING ROOM
- Kid Care - drop in babysitting is available at no charge for the convenience of all members and non-members taking classes. The babysitting room hours are as follows:

- MULTI-PURPOSE
ROOMS
- Rooms used for a variety of programs and meetings
attended by many of our residents.
- ROLLER/ICE SKATING
- The facility also offers a roller skating rink,
an ice skating rink, and a full snack bar which are managed by
United Skates of America.
