Recipe for a Healthy Spirit For many kids, food provides comfort and nurturance. Eating gives them something to do when they are sad, worried or bored. Eating for reasons other than hunger can contribute to being overweight. So, don't bury your problems under your food. Find the reason you are overeating and do something about it. For example, deal with boredom in a healthy way ... call a friend, read a book, write a letter, go outside and play. Don't eat when you are not hungry. |
