Recipe for a Healthy Body

About one in four kids and teens are overweight. Being overweight can lead to health problems like high cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes. The best way to achieve a healthy weight is to balance the amount of food you eat with the amount of exercise you do. It is best to learn how to make healthy food choices using the Food Guide Pyramid rather than going on a diet. Dieting is NOT recommended for kids, and can be dangerous.
