HEAD COACH
Pete Coreschi |
Pete Coreschi swam for MEY for 11 years. During the 90’s, he served as the Assistant Aquatic Director for MEY and also taught swim lessons. Pete was the Assistant Coach at MMP from 1994—1995 . From 1996 through 1998, Pete held the head coaching spot at MMP. Pete currently works with with many age groups at the Y.

Ryan
Patterson |
Ryan has been working at the Metuchen-Edison YMCA for over 11 years and became an Assistant Coach during the 2006 season. As a member of the MEY Swim Team for 11 years, Ryan competed in both Spring and Summer YMCA National Championships in the 1998,1999,2000,2001, and 2002 seasons. Ryan swam for her High School, Rutgers Prep all four years and ended her swimming career swimming for Division I Colgate University. As a coach, Ryan works with the Silver and Gold Practice groups at MEY. She has been fortunate enough to have coached YMCA Nationals, NJ State and Silver Qualifiers and looks forward to watching the hard work and dedication of her athletes pay off at the end of this season. Ryan holds a B.A. from Colgate University and will be graduating in the Spring of 2010 with a Masters in Social Work from Fordham University.

Andrea
Marumoto |
Andrea has been part of the MEY family for the over 9 years as a parent, board member and the official's coordinator. For the past several years, she has coached the team at the Edison Community Pool to winning seasons. As a MEY coach, Andrea works with the 12/under groups. She has been a coach at Zones as well as a coach at YMCA Nationals. |

Robert Hassett |
Robert started his swimming career at MEY and MMP in the 1980’s. During high school he was a multiple finalist at YMCA spring nationals, a Junior National qualifier, and captained St. Joseph’s H.S. state championship teams. Robert graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics and History from the University of Pennsylvania where he swam on their Division I Varsity swim team. As a coach, Rob works with the Silver and Gold Practice groups at MEY. Robert earned his MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and currently works for J.P. Morgan. |
