Swim Team Tryouts |
Tryouts will be held at the Metuchen Branch YMCA. Please be ready to swim at the listed times.
August 5th
6pm-7:15pm ages 10/under
7:15pm-8:15pm ages 11/older
August 8th
9am-10:15am ages 10/under
10:15am - 11:15am ages 11/older
If you swam in our Spring Clinic, you must try out for the Fall season.

PRE-PAY - EXCESSIVE OUTSTANDING BALANCES |
REMINDER:
Pre-Pay is meant to be an easy way to pay for invitational and mini meets. You must put money in to use it for meets.
There are many families with excessive balances (over $100). Please pay these balances and put extra in to cover future meets.

Long Course Meets |
Stroke and Turn has just started, but we have to look ahead to Long Course because meets are already accepting entries. Parents of swimmers at the Y, please check in with a coach to see if there are any meets that you want to sign up for. Swimmers at Wardlaw are asked by their coach about meets. If you know there are dates that your child cannot attend a meet, please let your child and coach know.

Dual Meet Work Schedules |
All Parents please take note:
If you are scheduled to work and do not show up or find a replacement for your work assignment.. MEYSTPA as bound by our addendum from 2007-2008 season.. we will impose of fine of $50.00.

Invitational Meet Entry Procedures |
For Invitational Meets, swimmers will receive a meet entry form in their mailbox (folder on deck). It is very important that these papers are completed and returned to the swimmers coach by the deadline on the paper. Meets come up quickly and get closed quickly. If you do not plan on attending the meet, please check off that you are not attending and return the form. It will let the coaches know that you do not plan on attending and know that you just didn't see the form. If you are missing a form, you can print one out online from the Invitational Meets page or ask your coach.

Parents Association
The
next meeting of the MEY Parents Association will be on the second Tuesday of every month(Oct. 12, Nov 10, Dec 8, Jan 12, Feb 9, Mar 9, Apr 13, May 11) at 7:30pm. It will be held at the Metuchen Branch Y - for
more info, please contact Lisa Tonery at lisa@kbsma.com. All Committe Chairs and Practice Group Reps are encouraged to attend.
