Volunteers are the heart….

Volunteers are the heart of the Metuchen Branch YMCA. Our programs are able to run because of the time and efforts put in by our volunteers. Our volunteers serve a variety of roles at the YMCA including coaches, youth leaders, office workers, board members, committee members, fundraisers, instructors, camp counselors and in many other ways.

The YMCA is inclusive in its volunteer recruitment. It is our goal to have a volunteer workforce working hand in hand with YMCA employees that is diverse as our membership. Much of what we accomplish at the YMCA is with the help of a dedicated force of volunteers. We have policy and program volunteers who have done thousand of hours of volunteers service last year

We look to add to our volunteer force all year long. If you’re not already a volunteer we hope you will consider volunteering at the YMCA. Together we can accomplish more.
