The Metuchen Branch YMCA has many programs that
offer art, literacy, music, computers small group play, swim lessons,
gym class,
stories and
age
appropriate
activities and general academics for your Preschooler and Kindergartner.
All great for school prep experience. "Y" Tots-Age 2 Opens September 8, 2008 The "Y"Tots is a wonderful fun-filled two hour program just for your two year old. This program meets on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9am to 11am. This is a great first time away from home experience. Stories, songs and much more! The child does not have to be potty trained. Program is held at the Community Presbyterian Church of Edison, located 75 Glenville Road, Edison, NJ 08817. Registration and sign-up are done at the Metuchen Branch YMCA, 65 High Street. Age 3 Great experience for the young pre-school child. This program offers art, literacy, music, computers, play and socialization in small groups as well as holiday celebrations. Includes a swim and gym class. The child must be toilet trained and able to dress with minimal assistance. There is a morning session, 8:30 am - 11:30 am, an afternoon session, 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm, as well as a full day program, 8:30 am - 3:00 pm.
AGE 4-5
A unique and exciting environment that meets your child's social and academic needs. Dramatic play, science, art and literacy centers offered in the renovated classrooms, as are seasonal parties. A great school preparatory experience. A swim lesson is included once a week. There is a morning session, 8:30 am - 11:30 am, an afternoon session, 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm, as well as a full day program, 8:30 am - 3:00 pm. In addition, there are 2 day, 3 day and 5 day options available. Kinderkonnection Kinderkonnection accommodates children in a half day kindergarten program. Enrichment activities and reinforcement of basic skill are included with a swim lesson once a week, gym time, arts & crafts, music, stories and computers. We offer busing to Edison Schools & Metuchen. Basic care hour options are 8:30 am-12:30 pm and 11:30 am-3:00 pm. We do have extended care also available, 7:30 am-12:30pm, 11:30 am-6:30 pm and 7:30 am-6:30 pm. Busing is included in the cost! Click here for preschool fees Click here for Kinderkonnection fees |
