the Camp Munsee 2008 Brochure
Camp Munsee is
a day camp run by the Metuchen Branch YMCA. Camp is offered to
boys and girls grades K-8, and is complemented by a Leaders In
Training Program for young adults grades 9 through 10. The philosophy
of YMCA day camp is to help children grow physically, mentally
and spiritually and to incorporate the four YMCA core values,
caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, are incorporated
into all aspects of our camp. Under the guidance of our trained
staff, campers will explore, experiment, discover and learn about
the world around them in creative and fun-filled activities. |

Our
camp staff is mainly teachers and college students, 18 years or
older. Camp staff is carefully selected and trained in CPR. Standard
First Aid and YMCA camp philosophy, procedures and policies. Camp
staff are dedicated to developing creative, motivating and fun-filled
activities for the camper.
