L.I.T. participants
need to fill out an application packet prior to the start of
camp.
This program seeks to encourage small group
dynamics, counseling skills, program development and values clarification
by presenting a challenging array of activities. As part of their
leadership training, your teen will be placed in camper groups
to shadow counselors. L.I.T.’s gain valuable experience assisting
the counseling staff in all aspects of the camp day.
The philosophy of YMCA day camping is to help
children grow physically, mentally and spiritually. The four YMCA
core values, caring, honesty, respect and responsibility, are incorporated
into all aspects of our camp.
