Tuition Policy

Tuition is paid to the Edison Branch YMCA on a monthly basis and is due by the 10th of the month, unless other written arrangements have been approved by the director in advance. Monthly credit card draft is available. Payments made after the 10th of the month should include a $20.00 late fee.

A registration deposit of $250.00 for full time students (5 days/week) and $150.00 for part time students (4 days/week or less) is required at the time of enrollment. Written notice of withdrawal must be given at least one month in advance. At that time your deposit may be applied to your last month’s payment. At no time will a deposit be returned if proper notice is not given.

The Edison Branch YMCA recognizes the need to serve all members of the community regardless of their ability to pay the full cost of childcare. Please see the Childcare Director to apply for financial assistance.

There is absolutely no credit given for vacation, sick days, or emergency closing days. We are also unable to hold a spot for a child without full payment (i.e. extended vacations). Your monthly fee is based on a yearly tuition rate of 50 weeks.

There is a sibling discount of 10% of the combined tuition total for full day childcare only.

Drop-In Care: Advanced notice is required for drop in care. All drop-in hours must be pre-paid. Children may stay a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 8 hours per day.

Adding a Day: Adding a day to your child’s part time schedule is possible based on availability. Arrangements must be made 24 hours in advance with the Center Director. The cost is $65.00 for Infants and $60.00 for Toddlers AND $55.00 for Preschool/Pre K.
