Dates
and Hours of Operation We will open for members on weekends beginning June 12, 2010. Beginning on June 21, 2010 the pool will also be open weekdays from 12-8pm for July, 12-7:30pm thru August 27th. The pool will be closed Monday 8/30-Thursday 9/2. Friday 9/3 the pool will be open 4-7:30pm; Saturday thru Monday 10am-7:30pm (9/4-6). The last day the pool will be open is Monday, September 6.
Membership
Cards
All members new and old, must get a photo membership card at the Edison
YMCA upon purchase of a membership. Members that register online must
go to the YMCA for photo cards as well. There is a $10 fee for replacement
cards, once a new card has been issued. Members are required
to scan cards upon each visit to the swim club. Loan of this card
subjects the owner to loss of membership. Birthday
Parties, Family Parties, Reunions, Rentals The YMCA Family Swim Club at Oakcrest is a great site for any party. The Upper Pavillion, or new Lower Pavillion may be used to host the party, with YMCA staff supplied to supervise and lead activities if needed. Rates for parties are based on a 2-hour event and begin at $300 for up to 20 participants. The 2 hours may be expanded for an additional fee, as well as the number of guests. Groups are invited to rent the pool on weekday mornings from 9am-12pm. Large family parties must reserve a space in advance. The YMCA Family Swim Club is located on Inman Avenue in North Edison.
Situated on 14 acres of wooded land, the facility boasts a 25-meter,
6 lane pool, diving well with a slide and a kiddie pool. Bathrooms
with showers and a snack bar are conveniently located around the
pool area. Upper and lower bathrooms are barrier free for ease of
use by all. Half lockers are available in the lower bathrooms for
daily use by members. Full sized lockers are available for seasonal
rental, also near the lower bathrooms. A playground, tennis
court, basketball courts, sand volleyball, skatepark and a snack
bar make this swim club a place for family fun. We also
anticipate a NEW art shack with an attached 15' x 40' pavillion
to be added this spring. It will be a great place to barbeque,
host a family party, etc! Use of facility courts
and fields is limited to 5-8pm on weekdays when camp is in session,
