A leader
in early child care education, the Edison Branch YMCA Child Care
Center is committed to helping children grow physically, mentally,
socially and emotionally through developmentally appropriate programs,
and by embracing the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect
and responsibility. The Edison Branch YMCA Child Care Center encourages
children to grow by developing self-confidence, self-respect and
an awareness of their own self-worth.

The
Edison Branch has limited child care spots still available.
We are currently enrolling for infants (5 weeks to 18 months),
toddlers (18 months to 3 years), jr pre-k (3 to 4 years old)

Drop-In
Care
In addition to traditional child care that is available, the Edison
Branch YMCA Child Care Center also offers a Drop-In Care program
for families that need less than a full day of care.

Advanced notice is required. Children must stay a minimum of 2 hours.
Drop-in care is based on availability. Arrangements must be
made prior to the drop-in care date with the site Director.
After
School Care
The
Edison YMCA After School Care programs runs from September through
June 7am-7pm if needed.
We
serve the following schools:

School
- Woodbrook
School
Children
are transported to the YMCA where our program features swimming,
homework time, snacks, arts & crafts, games, movies, cooking,
knitting, and more. Children are cared for in a friendly, safe and
well-rounded environment.
Transportation
is also provided for ½ days, early dismissals and snow days.
Program runs until 7pm.
Vacation and Holiday Care is available for children on a drop in
basis for $55.00 per child. Pre-registration is required, limited
spaces are available. Paperwork and health form must be completed
before child can start.
Babysitting
Babysitting is a service provided for children of members
ages 3 months to 10 years.
- Members
must be using the facility (playing basketball in the gym, swimming
in the pool, working out in the fitness center, etc.).
- Hours:
Mon - Sun 9:00am-12:00pm; Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs 6:30-8:30pm
