Edison Branch YMCA - Camp - Traditional Camp

Grades 1-6

Optional Trips are available every Tuesday (grades 1-3) and Wednesday (grades 4-6)to fun amusement parks and other area places of interest. Each trip is priced to include admission fees and bussing. Space is limited to 45 campers on a first come, first serve basis.

A healthy lunch program is available for purchase daily. The 2010 menu will be posted shortly.

There are many Specialty Camps available to enhance your Traditional Day Camp experience.

A $50 second child discount is applicable for siblings enrolled simutaneously in full-time camp. Specialty programs are excluded from the sibling discount.

The Traditional Day Camp is our most popular program. Campers choose their main activities each day and are able to try a little bit of everything. Camp counselors plan short group activities that compliment campers' daily choices. Instructional swim is provided in the morning for all campers. Free swim in the afternoons and a weekly day trip option are a vital part of the traditional camp week as well. Campers are divided into grade level groups, though they often join with other grades for various activites. Our Traditional Camp is available for 10 weeks, June 21 through August 27, 2010.
