Registration Procedures and Camp Policies

Please read carefully

Registration for last year's campers at Y Camp at Oakcrest begins February 1, 2008. Registration for new campers begins March 1, 2008. At the time you register, your membership must be current. All campers must be members of the Metuchen Edison Woodbridge YMCA. A camp only membership is $40.

A $50 deposit is required for each child for each week of camp, and is non-refundable after May 1, 2008.

When registering for camp, you will receive or may download a parent handbook including payment information, program details and a medical form which must be completed and returned by June 1, 2008.

Financial assistance is available. Applications for financial assistance take 2 weeks to process.

A $25 late fee will be assessed on all late payments. Your space will be replaced if payment has not been made 7 days after the balance due date. A $20 change fee will be instituted for any changes made after May 1, 2008.

A 25% second child discount is applicable for siblings enrolled simultaneously in full-time camp. Specialty programs are excluded from the sibling discount.

Refund Policy

In order to register for camp, a $50 deposit is required to reserve a space. The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE after May 1, 2008.

Once camp payments are made, campers that withdraw will be entitled to a maximum 50% credit for remaining camp weeks, excluding the deposit. There are not cash refunds after May 1, 2008.

Payment Procedure

Camp payments are due in full on the following dates. A $20 late fee will be assessed on all late payments.

Campers attending camp during any or all of:

Weeks 1, 2, 3 and 4 (June 23-July 18)
Balance due 5/1/08

Weeks 5, 6, 7, and 8 (July 21-Aug. 15)
Balance due 6/1/08

Weeks 9 and10 (Aug. 18-Aug 29)
Balance due 7/1/08

Campers will not be permitted to attend camp without payment paid in advance.

Payments may be made at the Edison Branch YMCA, and at Y Camp at Oakcrest once camp begins. Payment methods include cash, checks, Visa, American Express or MasterCard. A credit card draft form is available if you wish for us to bill your credit card on the payment due date.
