Staff

The staff hired meets and many times exceeds the qualifications required by the State of New Jersey. Additionally, all teachers complete an extensive orientation program and participate is regular training sessions on child development, curriculum and classroom management. All staff members are certified in First Aid and CPR.

The education and care provided is directly related to the high quality of the staff and management team.

Staff to children ratios

The staff to children ratios in our centers, in many cases, exceed the required state ratios.

State required ratios:
Infants (birth to 18 mos) 1:4
Toddlers (18 mos. to 30 mos) 1:7
30 mos to 4 year olds 1:10
4 year olds 1:12
5 year olds 1:15
6 year olds and older 1:18

Primary care givers are assigned to each child enrolled in the early education system. A significant staff member with primary responsibilities is available to provide frequent personal contact for each child.
