Activities

Understanding that children come not as individuals but as part of a family, activities are available and designed to provide positive experiences for both children enrolled and the family members they bring with them.

Among the activities available are:

	Weekly swim-and gym programs at one of the three YMCA Branch facilities.
	Weekly music appreciation.
	Monthly theme trips to enhance the curriculum and encourage neighborhood involvement.
	Service projects to help children and their families reach out to others in their communities.
	Inter-generational programs to integrate senior citizens and preschools.
	Parenting groups which focus on education, support services and center involvement projects.
	Family programs and activities to encourage parental involvement.
	Hot meals optional.
	Diaper service available.
	Diversity programs to embrace all the cultures we serve.
	Drop-In care for part time or occasional users of the programs.
	Parenting seminars.
